El nombre de Venomoth combina el inglés «venom» (veneno) y «moth» (polilla).

Venomoth es un Pokémon insectoide de tipo bicho/veneno de color marrón con unas alas con distintos colores. Su alas son plegables, lo que le permite desplazarse a gran velocidad. Su cuerpo posee unos pinchos y su cabeza presenta dos grandes ojos amarillos.

Evolución

Venomoth evoluciona a partir de Venonat. Se desconocen las condiciones de cada una de sus evoluciones.
