Etimología

Geodude proviene de las palabras geo, en referencia a la geología, y dude, una variación de dough («masa»).

Biología

Geodude es un Pokémon de forma de una roca sólida, gris o marrón, con manos, pies y dos ojos. Sus brazos son un par de ramas o huesos que contienen cristales. Hay una línea divisoria en su figura en la que sus brazos superiores y los inferiores se unen.

Evolución

Geodude se evoluciona a Graveler usando una Piedra Lunar y, a su vez, una Piedra Solar lo evoluciona a Golem.

Historia

Geodude fue introducido en la primera generación de Pokémon (Pokémon Rojo, Azul y Amarillo). Estos Pokémon normalmente viven en zonas montañosas, donde aparecen las rocas.

Geodude busca ayuda para sus movimientos. Debido a su apariencia, a veces se confunde con los montones de rocas. Pero si molestas a un Geodude, podrías recibir un contragolpe con los brazos de hierro duro.

Geodude es resistente a los ataques de Acero, Hielo, Roca y Tierra. Por otro lado, es vulnerable frente a los ataques de Fuego, Hielo, Plantas, Agua, Lucha y Voladores.

Geodude es un Pokémon de tipo Roca/Tierra, por lo que es resistente a los ataques de Roca, Acero, Tierra, Normal y Veneno. Además, es vulnerable a Agua, Hielo, Fuego, Volador, Lucha y Planta.

Geodude se puede encontrar en variados lugares como cuevas, minas, praderas, zonas montañosas y granjas. Se recomienda usar PokéBalls como Pokeball, Ultraball, Honorball, épicas, mismo que para la versión de Raid.
