El nombre de esta Pokémon proviene de la unión de los términos «eldey», que se refiere a los campos de flecos de la cultura islandesa, y «gossamer», que significa telaraña.
Biología
Eldegoss es una pequeña Pokémon de forma redondeada, con una textura aterciopelada. Sus manchas blancas se asemejan a los flecos de un campo de flores. El pelaje de sus orejas es blanco y largo, mientras que su cuerpo es marrón en la parte superior dirigiéndose al amarillo en su bajo vientre. Cuentan con espigas en la cola que le dan un aspecto de telaraña.

As Gossifleur evolves into Eldegoss, its body is coated in white fluff that it uses to parachute or glide from tall grass and trees.
