Bastiodon
Etimología
El nombre de Bastiodon proviene de la palabra latina «bastion» que significa «fortaleza». Esta fue una indicación directa a la armadura resistente que tiene este Pokemon.
Biología
Bastiodon es una criatura actuando como un Pokémon cuadrúpedo de color marrón. Su principal característica son dos grandes caparazones de piedra con forma de placas de armadura. Estas placas cubren su cuerpo entero, a excepción de las articulaciones. Bastiodon también tiene dos párpados inferiores, que flotan cerca de su cuello. Sus patas tienen una serie de pequeñas zarpas, como la de un tigre. La cola de Bastiodon es corta, con una pequeña cola de pelo marrón a su extremo.
